Nose is earthy like damp dirt after a rain. Bold start with a body that slightly lingers. Taste is hard to pin point but quite enjoyable. Dryness is balanced. Leaves you wanting another sip.

Blend of mostly Zinfandel with Petite Sirah added, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, cigar box spice, floral and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of sweet raspberry and cherry with smoky meaty spice, pepper and floral notes wrapped in lively acidity. Fine sweet gritty tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, spice, cacao and slight earthy tones.

This delicious red blend from “that” Caymus is medium bodied, full of mocha and bright cherry fruits, with a lingering dusty finish. There is a bit of residual sugar, but not so much as to be unpleasant. It worked very well as a cocktail red.

Good bottle, notes of plum, vanilla, and oak. Smooth finish and nicely dry. Would buy again!

Red blend 2023. Nose and taste: dark fruit, mocha, smoke. Full body to very good red paired well with beef meatballs. Definitely got a lot of smoke and leather at the beginning, but then it sort of mellowed out with time which was really nice.
