My last bottle, and tonight it performs very well. Maybe it’s just sentimental.
Ripe red and blue fruits, with round and mouthwatering acidity. The body is lush and viscous. Long bitter sweet finish.

I had the best house red at the 70-year old Restaurante Fialho in Evora, the charming capital of the Alentejo region. Til this date I regret not bringing couple bottles home.
This 10-year old Alentejo blend evoked the memory of the pleasant experience. Nice mix of red and blue fruits, with developing tertiary notes. Full body with fresh acidity and and still very solid tannins. Will cruise for another 5 years easily.

I let it breathe 30 minutes before pouring but found this wine to be metallic. I wasn't wow'd by the upfront impression. This wine was better chilled at 59f. In my opinion.
