eye: pale straw yellow hue with significant transparency and indications of light body
nose: somewhat closes relative to other dry Riesling, honey and white flowers with hints of fruit in the backdrop
palate: rather dry with sweetness not overpowering, medium plus acid, light body, alcohol relatively high for a Riesling (guess 12%), some structure but not overly elegant, mildly tart fruit hidden behind minerality, brackish finish with more mineral notes

Cantaloupe, lemon, and honey on the nose. This is a semi-sweet wine. More lemon and honey with some peach. I wish there was something savory present. It’s a straightforward wine. Not very complex. It would be great for summer.

2015 vintage opened 6/30/2019. Sweeter than the past bottles in different years, however still overall good. Loaded with lemon flavor and a bit of peach. Went well with shrimp scampi.
