This is drinking (and smelling!) so good right now. Nose has extremely spicy blackberry/cassis, oodles of crushed granite, bloody meat, sweet spices. So neat. Soft and mouthfillingly savory, with little tannin, nice acidity, and good length.

White pepper and spice box notes - dark cherry fruit with a very slight hint of residual sugar. Savory tart short finish

Great wine. Seems traditional and accessible at the same time. Scents of oozy blackberries, warm lamb's blood, woody herbs, black peppercorns, all in top of a slab of cracked granite. Soft, vibrant, and mouthfilling, with ripe fruit transitioning into iodiney minerality that the soft tannin transports and deposits in every crevice of your mouth, where it hangs out for quite a while. Ready now but will improve for a couple of years.

Pretty wine, excited to see how it evolves over the next few years. Drinking quite well now though.

Tasting great now. Funky nose with undercurrents of dark fruit and spice. Palate is great with a game-like quality, dark cherries, a hint of jam, good acid, very savory. Makes me want to grill some sausage!

On the nose--slight citrus, flowers, maraschino cherries. On the tongue--earthy, coal grilled green peppers. Bitter with nice tannins. On day 2 it got way better!
