Darn solid for $37 at WTSO. An open, friendly style, the nose leads with dark berry ooze, coffee grounds, low-toned stony minerals, toasted baking spices. Rich and soft in the mouth, it’s got lots of dark, clingy fruit and dark earth notes, with a saline echo. Tannins are rich but buried in the voluptuous texture. Pretty decent acids. Not super complex nor an ager, this will be fun to drink with daubes (what I have on the stove) and the like over the next few years.

Deep , dark intensely black fruity; nose reminds me of my Nonno’s cantina. Soft, elegant, and delicious. Usually with grilled steak I opt for Zinfandel, but this change up really hit. Thanks for the wine, Tom.
