Well this is a nice surprise. Saturated color. Perfumed nose shows sweet tiny dark berries, iron, iodine, smoky gravel. In the mouth it’s relatively soft, lots of clingy flavors, including dry blackberry extract, iron, and crushed rock. Nice balance, extracted but not too much, some tannin still making itself known in the finish. Great value. Will certainly last nicely another couple of years.
