when a friend who moved to langdoc in South of france sent over some comic book for my kid i suggested he'll add some local 🍷 to the delivery. he agreed.

60% mourvedre
20% granach
20% syrah

14% ABV

dense purpelish red πŸ‘€ with medium legs

ripe black fruit with oak spices including clove, vanilla, tobacco and black pepper πŸ‘ƒ

medium plus body.
medium acidity.

ripe fruit and too much spices πŸ‘„

medium 🎯 with strong tannins drying all surrounding areas.

not too impressed, unfortunately.

not ok vfm (75 nis). wouldn't pick that one again.

faired badly with finely chopped salad, micro olive muffins and 🍯fried endive that were burned. not so great dinner with not so great wine.
i have another bottle from the same winery that is from vintage 2013, i hope It'll be more impressive.

Smells of cherry syrup and a hint of barnyard. A bit of vanilla on nose and on the palate. Little leather too. Flavors a fairly simple and pretty easy. But nice flavors.

Holding out on this one for a special occasion. 91 spectator rating. Spicy on the nose and palate. Dry with hints of dark berries. Pairs well with chocolate and cured provisions #SundayWineDown #DrinkFrance #CauseMyNameWasFrance

For the price it's great! Cured ham nose hints at terroir, warm, easy drinking, middle of the road
