Full bodied and intensely tannic. Sweet scent but fairly restrained fruits on the palate. Classic Nebbiolo characteristics dominate with cherry, dried strawberries, tar, roses, fine wood, earth, rocks and some beetroot notes. Very long and dry finish. Seems to be in a bit of a tunnel at the moment.

Fairly light in color with a nose of red fruit and slight tabacco/earth. Very dry in the mouth but still a smooth medium body wine. Tastes of red plum & cherry- even acidity and tannins- quite nice down the throat! A great wine-

A solid barolo, although for the price ($80) it did not wow me as much as the first time. Parker loves it, 98 pts. It is flinty, smoky, and leathery — all flavors that I like. It may have needed more air. And admittedly the glassware (aka plastic cups) was suboptimal!
