Volnay Pinot Noir

Needed something with a little age. Stunning nose of sides, some herbs, sour cherry, mid season cherry. Wafting. Palate has tons of sweet fruit and lovely juiciness and purity. Sappy and stoney. Lovely delicate tannins. So refined and well made. Awesome at 10 years old.

Youthful and tight with great potential. Round texture with ample spice plus fruit and acid to age. Gonna be awesome and approachable in 5 years.

Enticing aromatics with no follow through. A hard, rather anemic wine. 2010 vintage..

So elegant and lithe on the palate. Creamy and rich with nice acidity but needs 45 minutes to open up.
