Sick nose. Burgundy symphony. Big, ripe nose but classic Pommard. Earthy, forest, bbq sauce, dead leaves, mint, spice, and more. Sick. Palate has that huge '05 fruit, yet still a firm spine and terrific freshness. I probably opened this 2 years too early.

2012 vintage. Sort of modern style with spicy oak, ripe red berries, hints of plums, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. Lacks structure for the long haul, but pretty delicious now.

Very tasty bottle. Not overpowered by anything. Nice mixture of cherry, cinnamon, spices.
