Inky purple-red, highly extracted pigment. Cherry, mint, canned vegetable and funk notes in nose. Cherry, raspberry and barrel char flavors, lots of fine-grained tannin in suspension on initial pour. Moderate skin astringency. Still assessing This is a tannic monster; retasting every 15 minutes, the bitterness and astringency keep intensifying.
