Dark opaque ruby color. I get ashes and tobacco smoke on the nose. Rich black cherry gives way to bay leaf then ashes on the palate. I drank it with pork Tinga tacos and it worked.

Smooth, Rich, well-balanced and even nutty. Really great value.

Squashed Grape: 2009 I liked it at the tasting but this bottle tasted like summer heat/improper storage at my house ruined it.
