This is fantastic. The nose is fascinating with a sort of minty, floral quality that is hard to describe. It's very lifted and sexy; and I might even say there's a tiny, tiny hint of VA. The palate is soft, lush and beautifully balanced. The fruit character is markedly darker than other Barbarescos I've had lately, but the tannins are completely integrated. This rocks now but I would love to try it a few years down the line.

Delicate, roses, slightly darker fruit, medium structure, feel lighter bodied than other barbarescos, very lovely !!

Probably should have waited a few more years, as the tannins were too large and in charge. That said, I still really dug it, from the sexy perfume of lip gloss to the puckering sour cherry explosion. Try it with a super cheesy dish.

Obviously too young but nice. Integrated with excellent acid and freshness. Loads of dark fruit and some good earth.
