This '09 half bottle is very fragrant on the nose. Really complex and drinking great - still holding onto its acidity well. Strong notes of rose, dried cherry, and a hint of tar. Paired nicely with a white truffle dinner. MSRP $33 at UG.

2009 vintage. My kind of wine (doesn't help, I know). Excellent balance between fruit and tannins. Soft and reserved, but with depth of character.
