Clear ruby garnet in color. Cherry and Woody spices on the full nose and less aggressive palate. Medium light body, medium acidity, medium minus tannins. Fruit is subdued, but flavors fill out with food. Not stellar -- Gabbiano's Riserva is much more solid -- but an adequate food wine.
