Cavaliere d'Oro Chianti Classico Sangiovese
Blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot and 5% Colorino, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and spicy floral notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry fruit with pepper and cinnamon, lively acidity with firm tannins. Medium finish ending with fruit and slight oaky character.

Dec 7th, 2021Easy. . . This bottle was easy to taste, easy to enjoy and easy to finish. It very complex, some hints of licorice, cherry, dark berry, leather, but overall simple. Normally that is not what I’m looking for but this “simple” and “easy” were just right.

Jul 10th, 2022My rating here is random. As the wine got more breath it got nicer. Cherry to a darker fruit taste. Don’t drink many Chiantias but really liked this one.
