Savoury dried herb nose, pleasing fruit weight. Medium weight across the board, good tannin structure and a well balanced, approachable style.
Thanks Shaun!

First off, you have to decant. It’s a young acidic wine that needs to come to into itsself so please, decant it. That said, it’s strong, backbony with a medium light body, crushed red fruits. Even with the decant, though, the tannins feel imbalanced against the softer foreground of fruit.

Decent everyday wine. Great mouthful and balance. Slightly too edgy on the backend...lacks depth. Still in search of the perfect $15 dollar bottle. Bought 10 at exact same price range.

Not much of an aroma, but nice, smooth taste. Not oaky. From artisan shop NYC

Delightful, "peasant swill", pairs well with pasta and meatballs.

A lot fruitier than I remember. This is a chianti for people who love new world wines.

Really shitty. Volatile, diluted and weightless in the wrong sort of way. Even stranger: the nose is correct and actually inviting. Cannot believe this is a 2013. Bad bottle?

For a 9$ wine, no brainer.

The fruit here is almost too ripe, more like a Grenache than Sangiovese. There are hints of Tuscany however and it is not a pure modern commercial technological product.
