Moderately saturated medium red. Strawberry, honey and flint on the nose and palate. Then fairly steely in the mouth, but boasting nice concentration and an appealing sweetness. Very good--smooth finish, nice Italian wine for anniversary, only was slightly expecting more from ws top 100 wines of 2012 (#9) ..perhaps.speaking soon as still opening up too
