Made of the younger vines which will be used later in the other classic cuvees. Quite “tight” where I expected it to be more approachable. To be followed up

Crisp, bright, fresh fruit of the red persuasion. Nothing too overly complicated, in fact missing a tad of the leather and tabacco you’d expect in a CC. But it’s all so pretty and food friendly (in this case with pasta and wild boar ragù).
