Lighter and fruitier than I would have expected. A bit of a perfume that seems out of place. Seems odd for a 2014...

This reminds me of a date I went on once where the girl was pretty but couldn’t add much to the conversation and the night got boring quickly. Check please!

Had the 2021 in April of 2024. Really tasty with the marinara and Italian sausage but didn’t seem to maintain that tastiness as the meal went on. I always eat my salad after dinner and it did not pair well at all with that. Fruity aroma with some big tannins and a dry finish. Hints of cherry and had a medium body. Loved it at the beginning-not sure by the end.

Easy to enjoy after a little breathing. Good on its own. Doesn’t get better with the meal as I prefer most Chianti’s do.

Thin, all in the front of the mouth, nice flavor but not a big wine.

Me and my wife just polished off our last bottle from a case of these. One of the best value Chianti’s on the market. Picked up for $8.99/each at Costco a few months ago. This is an austere offering from high elevation vineyards in Radda in Chianti. Beautiful floral nose with bright cherry, plum skin and Tuscan soil. Elegant and refined for the price point. Shines with at least 30 min decant and pairs great with pizza or pasta with red sauce.
