No mistake where this hallmark traditional bottling comes from. Only one place: Tuscany. Sour, dry cherry fruit with cedar, bay leaf and thyme. Classic and terrific. Requires tomato sauce acid and meat to balance out.

Purple fruit, dried roses on the nose. On the palate is ripe dark fruit - minerality and eucalyptus very present. Focused wine with grippy firm tannins, medium finish. Overall good but better Chiantis are out there at similar price point.
