Despite its 15 years, this blend from Tuscany performs quite well. Surprising fresh in mouth, it has tobacco and plums flavors at nose, good balance and lenght in mouth

Brimming with notes of cured meat and game, lifted by floral aromatics. Great by itself, better with funky blue cheese!

2011 Vintage. Bright clear medium plus cherry red. Gorgeous spicy aroma, silky texture on the palate. Plenty of ripe tannins but they are so ripe and elegant you hardly notice. Bright cherry and leather on an opulent finish. A lovely wine

A sumptuous marriage of Sangiovese and Cabernet. Deep garnet color and a bountiful nose of dark fruit and earth. Still fresh on the mid-palette, even for an '09, with cocoa notes, firm tannins and plenty of pepper on the finish. Don't get mad, but I paired it with some Pollo Loco for a random dinner with The Wife on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Turns out it was a match made in heaven (both the wine and wife pairing hehe).

Love this wine. The finest Sangiovese we had on our last trip to Italy.

A wine merchant in Siena recommended this over Tinganello. Very smooth, could even enjoy without food.
