Watson Vineyard Old Vine Zinfandel

This was the real deal

Good fruit, structure and tannins without being over the top. Nice lingering finish.

Outstanding Zin with 7 years of age. Excellent nose of berries, bramble, dirt (in a great way). Palate is very well balanced with plums, dark berries, a hint of jam, bit of prune, slight oak, good acidity. Went great with steakhouse dinner.

My favorite zinfandel. Marvelous depth.

Subtle pepper notes with a lovey fruity bouquet that gives a sharp but not too sharp dry flavor

Balanced and smooth. A very good wine for special occasions. A good wine in general!

Wine Road 2015. Sweet, not peppery. Best zin I've had so far.
