Debut vintage of this and it slays. Nose is ripe as 15 can be but it is infinitely complex. Tar, roses, deep cherry fruit. Glorious spice and so nuanced. Just keeps opening. After 5 minutes it’s changed 8 times. Wow. This is a dream. As supple as the most elite Burgundy and so sweet! Wow. This is as Chambolle as it gets. Perfect balance and stunning purity and depth. Velvet and silk of the highest level. This is the best 15 Barolo I’ve ever had. It’s not close. Wow. Sweet, sensual and silky palate that has the spherical effect in spades.
