Gushing fruit & earth. Not a bad pairing for osso buco.

Does it get better for 25 bucks? If so, please tell me. Varietally correct. Gorgeous wine.

Absolutely beautiful Barbera. Cherry, violet, mineral, leather. Concentrated but elegant and soulful.

Medium-high acidity and medium body. Very well balanced. Good balance fruit-wood, but maybe I prefer fresher styles of barbera.

Black cherry nose. Hint of spice and pepper. Strong fruit. Very high acid and bright. Could've used another few years to age and soften. Delicious, nonetheless. Great wine for the price.

Barbera doesn’t get much better than this 2016 from Cascina delle Rose. Drinking beautifully right now, perfect balance of fruit and acidity, with a great earthy feel.
