Unfortunately my bottle was compromised and had started to turn to balsamic vinegar. The color already showed brown at the edges. Much of the vinegar blew off in an hour revealing a nice Barolo underneath that was inexpensive, but it would have been better if it had not oxidized.

Nov 26th, 2022Color is light ruby with a bit brown and orange note on the rim. Nose is quite light with pleasant sweetness, some black tea, a bit savory spice, and a bit strawberry. Taste of very solid tannins, good acidity, a bit wet mushroom, indeed very Pinot noir like, a bit tobacco leaves, a bit cherry and vanilla, and a bit peppery. Aftertaste with some more additional zest, medium lingering. She is interesting. Light on the color yet very solid and young on the taste still. Very good experience.

Feb 8th, 2019Very well structured and will get better in a few years. Not sure when the window will be, but I will put it in the cellar try again. Still a great value Barolo that drinks better than the price.
