Jan 26th, 2018Had another bottle in the cellar, aged well. Ruby with spicy, floral red fruit aromas. The palate shows cherries and raspberries with a sweet tang, refined soft tannins and overall good balance. Finish is medium+ length and showing pepper, cacao and mineral notes on ending.

Oct 19th, 2017Day 2 and this riserva Cabernet is doing quite well. Chocolate nibs and black plums, grilled hamburger, mint and thyme, white pepper, cedar and smoke. Tastes of black cherry, dried blackberry, charred blueberry and graphite dust informing the grainy tannins. Cedar and cigar interplay, black currant reduction, ending with a long cinnamon stick. Really a charmer.

Nov 2nd, 2013Surprisingly smooth and interesting. Pleasing bouquet, lovely spice/fruity opening, medium weight, long finish (but not overwhelmingly long). This 2015 will get even better. We will definitely get more.

Feb 8th, 2018"Nice bottle with Malbec in the lead. On day 1, actually tasted quite a bit of sweet bbq'd meat flavor. This dissipated on day 2 and was traditional dark berries and slight tobacco. Aroma was moderate and of the same as the palate. Had med to high body and mouth feel. Not outstanding, but a very good value at $15. Would certainly buy again."
