It was a clear, deep tawny color and the smell was of clean raspberry, cranberry, and slightly detectable hint of leather. It tastes mostly of raspberry and leather like the smell and is moderately sweet and medium across all tasting categories. Pleasant to drink.

Smokey and earthy notes with a honey after taste. Lighter tannins. It has cherry notes and a bit dry for my taste. The smokiness made it one of the more enjoyable reds for me.

This is very different from other reds I have tried and I really like it. This is light-bodies and I am getting tart cherry and hints of tobacco.
