This is a lean, acid-driven take from a house that owns several reputable individual properties in addition to this label, which I think is the house negociant label. Nose has some underripe cherry, a fair amount of minerality, a brambly, twiggy note, and a whiff of fresh artichoke. Lean and acid-shrill, it has little fruit. OK to wash down pasta and pizza, but nothing special. In its favor, it was extremely inexpensive.
