Vigna a Solatio Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Classic old school Italian white. Good. A solid “good.” Pair it with food you’d find in Tuscany.

Light bodied with crisp acidity. White fruits with notes of hay.

Lovely. Very salty and sandy at first, touch of lemon maybe. Juicier as it opened up. Lots going on. Great with the meal - barbecued mackerel, sardines, prawns, smoked aubergine etc.
