Leaning forward with blackberry fruit, violets, black slate, some leather and earth on the nose of this #dolcettodalba. It definitely stretches out nicely after a day or two post-uncorking in the wine fridge. Medium body with more pronounced acidity than expected for the varietal, bit thin in mid-palate but definitely not shy on the tannic finish though they are well-managed. Choice QPR here at Total Wine for ~$9 with volume discounts.
