Made the mistake (I'm a novice) of decanting this wine. No need. Nice and full bodied with red fruit and oak, which a wonderful combo in my opinion. Want to try this one again, sans decant.

Kinda oaky, and a little bit like cherry cotton candy but not all together unenjoyable thanks to brisk, crisp acids.

This was harsh and uninteresting at first. Several days later it was actually very satin-y, rich, and with backbone still. It had an aged characteristic.

Like a little Taurasi, Funk, Mushroom, basement concrete, Lush and savory on the palate, full and well structured French Wood tannen.
