Ripe vintage showing and so delicious. Grapey nose-almost Hawaiian Punch, tar, floral, licorice, grippy tannins. Drinking well now for a baby.

As far as Barolo goes this isn’t all that impressive. The nose is somewhat subdued, with leather and dried cranberry being the predominant notes. It’s definitely showing it’s age a little. Tannins are definitely still there, but maybe slightly subdued. It’s definitely far from the most complex Barolo I’ve had. It’s possible it’s already past its drinking window.
