Sipping Fine Wine

Tony Cartlidge & Glen Browne began their wine venture in 1980 to build a winery from scratch. Without enough money to buy an estate they decided to source the best farmed grapes and make wine in their garage winery. Ruby with big earthy and tart fruit aromas. On the palate simple berry fruit flavors with grassy herb notes and savory firm tannins on medium finish ending with earthy tones. Good for a crowd house wine, drink now.

Disappointing and tired. Not a current vintage but a lost bottle.

Nice Pinot. Smooth. Don't believe this is the reserve. Hopland vineyard? Had this at Luca Bella.
