A hedonists delight. Downed by the chimney with care. Rich and silky. Almost too much but levels out smoothly before it turns the corner.

That time when you remember why you bought this wine over the cab. Wow, what an incredible expression of the Sonoma Coast. This needed an hour of decant to hit its full stride. Highly recommend for the Pinot drinker. Thanks DJ for the intro.

2 years ago this was a hot disjointed mess. Now it is a borderline masterpiece. The tannins have resolved and unity reigns. Red fruit, vanilla, spice box. Lovely. I'm not sure if Nic Allen or Luc Morlet is the winemaker but kudos to whomever crafted this.

2011 Carte Blanche "Nobles Ranch Vineyard" Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast - expressive aromas of red and Bing cherry, pink peppercorn and vanilla. Smooth texture and silky tannins. Open, decant for an hour and enjoy.

Nice marriage of new and old world PN. Good structure, some spice, moist gravel, dried cherry.

High alcohol but you don't taste it. Nice balance. Nice food wine. Lighter in style and more elegant. Best of tasting so far.

Owned by the same owners as Haut Brion and made by Luc Morlet. Brilliant juice if you can find it.

You know that wonderful smell you get when you walk into a barrel room at a winery? That fruity oaky beautiful aroma that puts a smile on your face. That's exactly what I detected as I swirled and smelled. Lots of dark cherry, baking spice, and star anise on the palate with a strong oaky overtone. The wine is nicely balanced. The finish is fantastic with a lingering floral/fruit note. A fantastic wine!

Enjoying with Lasagne and brings the right s spice and fruit with a tinge of earthy old world style Pinot. Plenty of structure left but drinking nicely with lovely Sonoma coast fruit you would expect.
