15.5/20 (89/100)

Темный цвет, лакрица, чернослив, сухое дерево, земля, сушеные ягоды. Строго, насыщенно, деревянно. В классическом стиле винодельни.

Aged gracefully. Fantastic nose and still very powerful.

What a pairing! With bistecca the aromas of the aged wine as some leather and tobaco come above.
But the fruit is still so present that it is truly perfect!

Pent up funk is released on open. Deep dark ruby in color, medium+ body. Gorgeous stewed red fruit aromas, with red bell pepper, potting soil, and a hint of mint. Most of this carries through on the palate, add a touch of spearmint and red licorice. This is one of the more complex Tuscan wines that I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, the finish doesn't complete the stellar review. The tannins are very pronounced, bone dry-- perhaps they would soften will even more bottle age? At 14% ABV there's not much more to burn off. I'm not trying to be a hard ass, but it's only the finish that prevents this from being a 96 point wine for me.

Crimson red. Tar, leather and all spice on the nose. Ripe, bitter cherries, dark chocolate, roasted almonds and a bit of licorice. Lingers a bit but not tannic. Really nice.

Beautiful high tone nose . Your mouth is greeted by plums, tar and leather. As round as a baseball. Years to go
