Slightly floral nuances with savoury cherry notes and underlying tar being the best palate descriptors. With the rooster emblem indicating Chianti Classico. Perfect with home made pizza. Drank another one on 3 May 2016 which was corked.

Nice, traditional Chianti wine from Sangiovese. Nice blackberry, sour cherry, cedar, graphite notes and flavors. Nicely balanced and textured high alcohol wine.

Oct 4th, 2015Deep bouquet, classic Chianti. Well structured tannins, in fact still quite closed when opened (September 2015), and took a few hours to get to its best. Fairly concentrated, but not too long on the finish, acid and tannin predominate.
