This yellow-gold wine offers a nose of citrus and minerals, with plenty of the “wet sidewalk” aroma which typifies minerality. There is also a healthy blast of orange peel, lemon and herbal. The palate, I feel, is dominated by the Grechetto grape. The Chardonnay is there, as is the Sauvignon Blanc. However, the distinctive, earthy, stone fruit flavor must be the product of the Grechetto. The acidity is as fresh as it can be, and will make this an incredibly food-friendly wine. Would I drink this every day, if I could? Yes, I would.
