Black fruits, lots of minerals, coffee, creme de cassis, with some licorice, bigger tannins & medium acid. Full bodied, oaky notes & tannins the are starting to dry out on the finish. Getting close to its peak. 1 to 2 years left before it may begin to fade.

Super Tuscan blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. A dry, pencil shaving smelling nose. Full bodied with a good grippy tannin structure. Dark fruit, mocha, vanilla. I would cellar this some more. 94RP and 95JS.

2002v. Deep inky violet with a little light rim variation. On the nose, there was black cherry, red fruits, and a little green bell pepper. All those flavors on the palette plus some anise/fennel and cedar. Tannins still had a gentle grip. After 15yrs, this super Tuscan opened up after 30mins of decanting to be a bold wine with integrated flavors. It kind of fell apart though after an hour and a half. Perhaps a little over the hill. 14% ABV.

Big Sang up front, then it hares off in a crazy Cab Sauv direction. Tons of flavour. Nice new world alternative.

Lots of viscous strawberry and raspberry on the nose and palate! Still with some grippy tannins but smoothing out with time. ... this got better as we drank it! Delicious!!
