Wild Thing Damiano Vineyard Viognier
Placer County, Sierra Foothills, California, USAFrom the Damiano vineyard in Placer County high in the Sierra Nevada. Picked a bit earlier than most Viogniers and barrel-fermented in mostly neutral French oak. No malo. Intensely perfumed with white flowers and exotic fruits. Round and ripe with refreshing acidity and without the seperate bitterness in the finish that spoils so many Viogniers. Delicate flowery and lenghty aftertaste. Delicious. 2016 vintage. Abv. 13,5 %.
