Inky color. Very jammy on the palate, Over ripe black fruit flavors. Somewhat tannic. Not memorable, I would pass on this offering. For $5 more you can find a bunch of better cabs.

Full bodied, smooth and soft on the tannins. Reminiscent of a red blend.

Inky in color (almost black) with a very thin purple rim. This is probably the darkest wine color I've ever seen.

Fruity nose of blackberries, plums, sweet cherries, oak, vanilla, cloves, tobacco, green vegetables, herbs, chocolates, smoke, coffee and black pepper.

Full bodied and buttery with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry to off dry on the palate with ripe blackberries, black currants, dried figs, smoke, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, tar, pencil lead, peppercorn, chocolates, tobacco leaf and dark roast coffee.

Medium on the finish with soft tannins and spices.

This California Cabernet is simple and balanced with a nice mouthfeel. A good everyday wine, but not completely dry. A good sipping wine, and will also work well with grilled meats.

This teeth staining color wine is drinking nicely now, but not one for long term aging. I'll give it a try in a year from now, maybe the fruits will subside a little. This was nice, but a little much for my taste.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

Interesting and fun with a good steak and brussel sprouts. Dark dark dark. Smooth in the sip and light in the swallow.
