Criminally low rating for high QPR Chablis style Chard. Enjoyed it more than my last experience. Great expression of cooler temperature Chardonnay not spoiled by over oaking. Beautiful fresh green apple crisp acidity with pear and lemon flavors. A little custard creaminess on from some aging in the lees, very slight vanilla notes from a short time in French Oak. Why American wine makers continue to assault Chardonnay with oak and diacetyl is beyond me. @Scott Petrus do you have an argument in favor of this barbaric behavior?

Does not taste like a cali chard has a very French feel to it in taste and weight. Fresh and crisp citrus with some mid palate weight that finishes crisp and clean, very subtle oak, well balanced. Great at the price.
