Rare California mono varietal. It’s typical of Carlisle (which I love). Big, bold and fruity although slightly angular. Interesting.

I followed others and did a 2 hour decant; first hour in the decanter and the second back in the bottle (air integrating). It opened beautifully with strong savory elements nose to finish. I didn’t taste in PnP but can say it was light in tannin after the decant. Really smooth.
