Showed more age than the 2004 Pietro and 2005 Tom Feeney. Still drinking well though.

Wow. 16yr Ca. Zin. Carlisle is well known for their Zins. This proves it true. Nice balance of tannins and fruits. I would even say it could go another few years. 🤔

The best positive, comparative and superlative adjectives to describe the mouthfeel are smooth, smoother and smoothest. The unctuous mouth is flooded with all the sweetest and ripest dark fruit flavors imaginable. The finish is very long, rich and creamy with even more fruit and spice on the aftertaste. Dazzling stuff!
