Longuicher Maximiner Herrenberg Auslese Riesling

From last night. Aged nose, rich, decent balance, maybe could have used a bit more acid. Austere with minerals. Would have liked to have tried it a year or so ago. Can't recall how much I spent on it, but if it's $21, it over delivered. #wine #mosel #riesling #terrytheise #skurnik

Auslese? Was expecting sweeter. Everything I love about Riesling and then some. Packaged here for $20

Far rich and exuberant. Okay

Really musty. Palate is classic green apple. No real aged character. Sorta boring.

Touch of petrol and pineapple.  Acid backbone helps combat the sweetness and keeps this wine straight.  Defiantly enjoyable, yet I was hoping for a bit more depth from a resiling with over 10 year of bottle age.   Could be the wintage/vintage

Fresh and clean.

Bright and fresh and pretty. I'm down.

Nice balance. Some age on nose.
