Quite closed right now, with a muted nose showing only a whiff of warm stones and a light flowery accent.
On the palate however this already shows great concentration & purity, beautifully balancing the honeyed apricot & peach sweetness with lemon & mineral acidity. There’s a touch of summer meadow herbs, too. But the finish is what steals the show - long, mineral, mouthwatering juicy, demanding another sip.
Way too young right now, but went perfectly with an exotic Seychelle style shrimp curry.

One of the best producers of dry riesling from Mittelmosel imo, who deserves more attention. But this spätlese isn't bad either :-).
