Deep purple. Pleasantly ripe nose with fleshy dark fruit, some menthol, eucalyptus and a hint on herbal green notes. The acids seem not very well integrated nor entirely natural. I'm not sure what this is all about. If the palate resolved itself this will warrant a higher rating.

Juicy ripe red fruit, cedar nose, lots of French oak. Sweet earthiness.

Interesting wine. Very faint all around at first drink; borderline flavorless. But after some air, it really developed nicely. A nice mellow wine. At about $14 it hits its peak. A very nice choice to bring to dinner for "non-wine" drinkers.

Classic jumilla at el Quinto pino. A great tapas bar. Sons flight was canceled and he is going to be late.
