First dry red wine from Calabria. 70% Gaglioppo (Greek origin) 30% Greco Nero. Intriguing savoury nose, some herbal elements leading to a less full bodied wine than expected and of course excellent with pasta and wild boar. Love these hot climate Southern Italian wines like this and also Primitivo from Puglia. 2010 vintage.
