The Art of Wine California Cabernet Sauvignon

This was developed by Michael Mondavi and his son Rob exclusively for Hyatt. We originally had it when we stayed at Hyatt properties. Guess what- now Marriott has it at some of their properties’ stores. I enjoyed the 2015 last night. Decent value. Nice nose, full body.

I won’t score this for obvious reason. I will say that this is consider Wine to its maker. 🤔

Would definitely buy again. Really amazing for the price. Excellent body and balanced. Not to dry, not too sweet. Hints of spices, chocolate and earth.

Nice cab. Balance between tannin and fruit.

Canvus cabernet sauvignon 2016 by Michael Mondavi! This was a free bottle of wine from the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead GA. WOW. I expected this to be very bad wine I am completely amazed of how good it is and for the price it’s like a heavy duty Pinot Noir on steroids. Maybe this is just a great bottle but dang! Yes it is my first glass of wine of the night. Big dark fruit. Lavender and licorice. An Oaky finish leaves you thinking... wow. I would say this should be my daily wine.
