I want to buy a case of this. A case!

Tobacco. Leather. Earthy. It helps that 06 was a good year for Barolo…. But this is $35CAD. Steal.

I think I’m going to pick up a few to age… could only imagine how good it will be in another 5 years or so.

Second best Barolo I had.

Medium-pale ruby-garnet color.
Aromas of red cherry, orange zest,
Dry. Flavors of cherry, cinnamon, soft tar, floral, spice. Rich, firm tannins.

This is becoming one of my go-to WTSO great value Barolo! Consistently good. Approachable on opening but singing day 2. Dark rose on the nose. Dark cherry, earth, mineral, and chewy tannins on the palate that linger. Performing well above its price point. Would pair well with a mushroom risotto or a hearty stew.

Good value. Raspberry spice nose. Raspberry, cherry, cinnamon tar, and bark on palate. Took a couple hours of slow ox to open up. Finish is moderate with some graphite. Overall very nice if you like subtle fruit and earthy/mineral emphasis - which I do.
